We’ve all fallen at least once in our life, and it’s not necessarily a cause for concern when we’re young and our bones are strong.
However, as we get older recurrent falls can signal that something else is going on with our health.
The good news is that many of the reasons why people fall are very fixable.
The goal is to figure out why you’re falling to not only enjoy better health, but also to reduce your risk of head injuries and broken hips, which can lead to memory problems and a loss of independence down the road. You can read Felix’s and Brenda’s stories about falls for examples.
