Is age to blame, or is it something else?
It is common knowledge that your chances of having a disease go up as you get older. This has led to the erroneous belief that age itself is to blame.
However, if you consider that over 50% of heart attacks or strokes in men happen before the age of 65, it is clearly not age that is the ‘cause’.
